Born in Lachute, Johanne Desforges has been a professional singer since the late 60's. She has lived and performed in Vancouver Canada and was on tour in the U.S. during 5 years in the late 70s. 
Teaching since 1976. Started teaching private voice lessons in Montreal in 1976. Teaching Jazz and Pop Voice at Vanier College for 14 years.
Singer Pianist, Johanne performs as a solo act in piano bars and special events.
She also performs with bass or in a trio and quartet combination. 
Stage and Studio Taking many interesting detours. From the Montreal International Jazz Festival where she performed 10 times to Special Events and Concerts, she recorded 5 singles during the late 70s and 80 and released 4 jazz CDs between 2001 and today.
